The trainers and the Project Manager work together to ensure training delivery is consistent across all states.

Tib has over 20 years experience working in the Transport and Distribution/Logistics industries and over 10 years experience as a specialist trainer.

Tib has worked for some of Victoria’s largest Distribution Centres, including Woolworth’s, Pacific Freight Services, and Westgate Logistics & Human Resources Worldwide. Over the past few years, Tib has developed a close training relationship with ABEX and now provides training services to all Transport and Distribution/Road Transport trainees.

Tib’s formal qualifications include a Diploma in Transport and Distribution (Logistics) and a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.

Tib also has his Forklift Licence, Stockpickers Licence and MR Heavy Vehicle Licence and is a Qualified Defensive Tactics Instructor.

Tib is a highly reliable and dedicated expert. His training professionalism has seen him become one of the most sought after Trainer/Assessors in Victoria.

Rex Buckingham has both extensive and impressive credentials in many industries. Rex has worked for some of the most recognised companies on Australia’s shores. Some of these have been BIG W, Philips Industries and Carpet Call.

Rex’s formal qualifications include a Diploma in Business Management along a Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training.

Rex is affiliated with many prestigious organisations. He is a Charted Member of Australian Human Resources Institute, a Member of the Australian Institute of Training & Development and is also an advisor for the Small Retailer’s Association.

Rex’s experience and training abilities prove he is both hardworking and an asset to any company he trains and shares his experiences with.

Brian has more than 25 years experience in retail and wholesale selling within the manufacturing, service, government and private industry sectors.

Much of that time has included state and national sales management as well as extensive in-house training activities. Added to this is more than 12 years experience as a trainer within these sectors. Brian is an active member of the Australian Institute of Training and Development.

While Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training qualified, he has completed many other industry-related programs giving him of knowledge and experience.

One of Brian's policies is to make the training experience fun, yet rewarding and significant in trainee career path development.

Colin has over 26 years experience in the Pharmacy/Retail and IT fields to a Senior Management level.

Colin also has of 8 years experience as an IT Consultant/Trainer. Colin’s work has seen him travel interstate, heading up IT Departments and running training seminars for many businesses.

Some of the companies Colin has worked for are Australian National Line (Shipping), Victorian Legal Aid, Department of Housing, Queensland Department of Natural Resources and the Queensland Treasury.

Colin’s formal qualifications include a Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training and a Certificate in Business Analysis. Colin is also a qualified Life Coach and Mentor.

Colin’s strengths are his abilities to communicate and consolidate. He is one of ABEX’s most experienced trainer.

Colin currently provides training services to our Retail, Business Administration and IT trainees.

Ashley Collins has over 20 years of wholesale and retail sales experience in varied industries such as Homewares, Audio-Visual, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Real Estate and Hardware, including 8 years in Sales Management. He has received many accolades and awards for his sales results.

Ashley is a true believer in continuous learning and is continually seeking opportunities to develop, maintain and refine his skills and keep abreast of emerging learning methodologies. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Management and regularly attends forums and seminars.

Ashley also provides Success Business Coaching to sales and business professionals.

Ashley is known for his perseverance and motivational skills, and enjoys encouraging others to reach their full potential.

Matt Stewart has over 10 years experience in wholesale and retail sales within the Tobacco and Automotive industries, including 4 years in sales management. He also has 2 years experience as a Human Resources Development Officer with a Group Training Organisation.

Matt is a highly motivated professional and a team player who relishes challenge. Matt is a people person and is highly skilled at building interpersonal relationships with his trainees. He is a highly competent communicator and facilitator. Matt is a natural team leader and motivator.

Using his sales experience, refined training methods and interpersonal skills, Matt adds great value to our team.
